• knitted army

Knitted Army is a series of furnishings based on the reinterpretation of traditional techniques (arm-knitting and hand-crochet) and the reuse of discarded materials (off-cuts from textile factories). Every product is strictly related to the hands and the gesture of its maker. To enhance the commitment of the craftsmen, informations of them are attached to the label of each product. Therefore the focus of the project is now shifting towards the potential that social dynamics can play in the production.
